Our client, an elite US City law firm is seeking a talented Corporate M&A Solicitor to join its high-performing Corporate team in London.

This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of complex, high-value transactions across a broad range of sectors including private equity, energy, renewables, infrastructure, technology, and telecommunications.

You’ll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team that advises on some of the most sophisticated deals in the market, both in the UK and globally.

The role:

  • Advising on high-end public and private M&A, takeovers, take-privates, schemes of arrangement, and strategic corporate matters.
  • Working with leading investment funds on special situations, private credit investments, distressed M&A, and equity restructurings.
  • Supporting clients on cross-border regulatory and policy issues, often in high-stakes, high-profile contexts.

The successful candidate:

  • Strong academic background and excellent communication skills.
  • A commercial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment.
  • Experience with energy clients or sophisticated financial institutions investment banks, hedge funds, institutional lenders) is highly desirable but is not essential.
