Job description

Our client is a multi-award winning, large independent firm with an established tax team. They deal with a diverse client base that ranges from dynamic OMB's to large corporate groups. As part of their expansion they seek a qualified Corporate M & A/Deals Tax Director. This role could be based from the Cheltenham or Cardiff office and day to day your role would include:

• Highlighting key tax risks arising and advising on tax warranties and indemnities required.

• Reviewing taxation implications of sale and purchase agreements.

• Helping to co-ordinate, develop and deliver tax due diligence reviews on target businesses and for vendor due diligence assignments.

• Knowledge of pre-disposal reviews of the tax aspects of businesses for which sales mandates are held.

• Demonstrating a good understanding of corporate and group re-organisations whilst being able to articulate this to clients in a clear and concise manner.

• Understanding the tax aspects of transaction structures and potentially advising on optimal tax planning strategies.

This firm offers a really good salary and benefits package including a profit share bonus scheme, life assurance, discounted gym membership, hybrid working and flexible hours.
