Job summary

Sonder Consultants in London is seeking a driven associate to join its Corporate M&A practice. You will advise multinational corporates, private equity sponsors, financial institutions and strategic investors on complex transactions across public and private M&A, joint ventures and restructurings.

The role offers exposure to high-value domestic and cross-border mandates, with opportunities for development and progression within a market-leading practice.

Qualifications

• PQE of 2–5 years at a leading UK, US or international law firm.
• Experience advising on corporate transactions including M&A, JVs or restructurings.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise multinational clients on complex corporate transactions, including public and private M&A.
• Work directly with clients in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Working as part of a highly regarded corporate team, you'll advise multinational corporates, private equity sponsors, financial institutions and strategic investors on a broad range of complex transactions. The role offers exposure to public and private M&A, joint ventures, strategic investments and corporate restructurings, with the opportunity to work on high-value domestic and cross-border mandates.

Requirements

• 2–5 years' PQE gained at a leading UK, US or international law firm.
• Experience advising on corporate transactions, including public and/or private M&A, joint ventures, strategic investments or corporate restructurings.
• Strong technical ability with excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience managing transactions and working directly with clients in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• England & Wales qualified, or equivalent qualification with relevant UK corporate experience.
