Job Description:

The opportunity involves recruiting an experienced Corporate Lawyer (Senior Associate) to join an industry-leading legal firm with offices in Belfast City. This role offers a chance for an experienced lawyer to join a specialized corporate team working with a diverse range of clients, from start-ups to multinationals. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team focusing on M&A, investment, corporate governance, with particular expertise in intellectual property and tech law, especially within Northern Ireland's vibrant start-up community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with over 5 years PQE
  • Experience in M&A processes
  • Experience with venture capital and/or private equity investments
  • Knowledge of corporate advisory work such as share issues, buy-backs, and reorganizations
  • Ability to produce shareholder agreements and articles of association
  • Legal due diligence experience
  • Familiarity with disclosure processes and ancillary documents for acquisitions or disposals
  • Ability to handle client calls independently
  • Understanding of IP law is advantageous
  • Strong team player with experience in high-performing, collaborative environments
