Job Description:

The opportunity involves recruiting an experienced Corporate Lawyer (Senior Associate) to join an industry-leading legal firm with offices in Belfast City. This role offers the chance to work with a wide range of clients, from start-ups to multinationals, focusing on M&A, investment, and corporate governance, with particular expertise in intellectual property and tech law within Northern Ireland's vibrant start-up community.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle M&A transactions, investment processes, and corporate advisory work.
  2. Draft shareholder agreements and articles of association.
  3. Conduct legal due diligence and advise on solutions.
  4. Review disclosure letters and schedules.
  5. Draft ancillary documents for acquisitions or disposals.
  6. Communicate with clients independently.
  7. Possess a good understanding of IP law.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Lawyer with 5+ years PQE.
  • Experience in M&A, venture capital, private equity, and corporate advisory work.
  • Strong team player, capable of working independently with clients.
