The Opportunity: CPL is actively recruiting for an experienced Corporate Lawyer (Senior Associate) to join an industry-leading legal firm with offices in Belfast City. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join the firm's specialist corporate team, working with a diverse range of clients from start-ups to multinationals.

About the role: The successful candidate will be a key part of a hardworking, friendly, and supportive team, with a focus on M&A work, investment, and corporate governance, particularly in intellectual property and tech law within the vibrant start-up community in Northern Ireland.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE
• Experience in M&A processes
• Experience with venture capital and/or private equity investments
• Knowledge of general corporate advisory work, including share issues, buy-backs, and reorganizations
• Experience in drafting shareholder agreements and articles of association
• Legal due diligence skills
• Ability to handle client calls independently
• Understanding of intellectual property law is advantageous
• Strong team player with experience in high-performing, collaborative environments
