We’re working exclusively with a modern, fast-growing law firm that advises startups, scaleups, and investors across the full corporate lifecycle. They are now looking to engage an experienced Senior Corporate Lawyer on a part-time basis (3 days/week) to support their continued growth and expanding client base.

This is an excellent opportunity for a corporate lawyer with strong transactional experience and a deep understanding of early-stage businesses. You’ll work with exciting startup clients and founders, providing high-quality, commercial legal advice — all within a flexible and supportive environment.

About the Role:

• Advise on early-stage and VC fundraising rounds (including SAFEs, convertibles, equity investments)
• Draft and negotiate key transaction documents and shareholder/founder agreements
• Manage cap table issues, investor rights, and SEIS/EIS compliance
• Support with EMI schemes and other employee incentives
• Guide on company formation, structuring, governance, and filings
• Assist with M&A and exit-readiness when required
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams, and potentially co-lead the corporate function

What We’re Looking For:

• UK-qualified with 6+ years’ PQE in corporate law
• Strong experience advising early-stage companies and investors
• Familiarity with venture deal mechanics, EMI schemes, SEIS/EIS, and founder arrangements
• Excellent drafting and client advisory skills
• Previous exposure to accelerators, VC funds, or in-house startup experience is a plus
