Job description

Our customer, a global professional services company, is seeking an Investigations Lead for a 7-8 months' contract role. The successful candidate will oversee corporate compliance investigations related to alleged misconduct raised through various reporting channels.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with senior leadership to assess and address legal risks associated with investigations
• Manage investigative teams addressing reported allegations
• Oversee notification, recording, and reporting processes related to investigations

Lead internal and external resources to investigate complex allegations concerning financial and regulatory misconduct, including:

• Defining scope,
• Notifying relevant personnel,
• Conducting interviews,
• Compiling investigation reports,
• Recommending remedial actions

Ensure effective investigation management by:

• Overseeing timely review and investigation of cases in coordination with the Director of Corporate Investigations
• Developing processes for identifying trends and reporting investigation data
• Making strategic decisions impacting the Corporate Investigations group
• Executing global strategies set by the Global Director
• Providing legal advice on risks and remedial measures to senior business and HR leaders
• Serving as liaison with compliance leads and law enforcement agencies
• Training and supporting investigative personnel
• Staying updated on legal developments affecting investigations and compliance standards

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years' experience in conducting and supervising investigations, including:

• Code of Business Ethics and financial fraud investigations
• Regulatory and governmental investigations
• Drafting confidential legal reports and advising senior leadership on compliance risks
• Experience with litigation related to investigations or employment law
