Our client, a leading global professional services firm, seeks an experienced Corporate Investigation Lawyer to oversee and manage high-profile corporate compliance investigations. In this role, you will address allegations of misconduct reported through various internal channels, supporting the company’s commitment to integrity and compliance.

About the Role

You will lead significant and complex corporate investigations involving financial and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leadership to assess legal risks and develop strategic investigation plans.
  • Define scopes, conduct interviews, compile reports, and recommend remedial measures.
  • Oversee internal teams and external resources, ensuring investigations are thorough, timely, and compliant with standards.
  • Manage notification, documentation, and reporting processes related to investigations.
  • Advise senior leadership on risk mitigation and remedial actions.
  • Liaise with Compliance Program leads, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement as needed.
  • Train and support investigative attorneys and staff.
  • Monitor legal developments impacting investigative practices and compliance standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of experience leading investigations, including financial fraud and regulatory investigations.
  • Experience drafting confidential reports and advising on compliance risks.
  • Related litigation experience (corporate and employment).
Required Skills
  • Ability to lead sensitive investigations with discretion.
  • Strong analytical, interviewing, and decision-making skills.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
