Job description

**Contract:** Full time, Fixed term until the 30th of June 2027.

**Qualification:** A recognised HR qualification or relevant degree, e.g., CIPD L5 or above, or extensive current HR experience.

The Role

This is a key role within the Corporate HR Team, responsible for leading the delivery of key people priorities/workstreams including:

  1. Leading the development and embedding of our people priorities, generating and implementing creative solutions.
  2. Project management, from research to implementation, exploring innovative solutions.
  3. Using data to identify solutions and inform plans/strategies.
  4. Providing strategic policy and employment law advice.

This role offers opportunities for teamwork, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.

About You

We seek an innovative thinker with experience managing staff and delivering projects. You should be able to work independently and with stakeholders, with a strong knowledge of employment law, project management, and IT skills. A recognised HR qualification or extensive HR experience is essential.

Additional Information

This is a fixed-term, full-time role (37 hours/week). After an induction, hybrid working is available, primarily based in Bolton Town Hall.
