A public health organization based in Manchester is seeking a Governance and Assurance Officer to assist in corporate governance frameworks. Responsibilities include working with management to ensure compliance with public sector processes and acting as the secretariat for governance committees. The role requires knowledge of NHS governance and experience in internal auditing. Candidates should be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience in governance or assurance.

As the Governance and Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Business Assurance in delivering CHP's corporate governance and assurance frameworks, and ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with those frameworks including acting as the secretariat for governance committees. This is a diverse role working with all management levels, gaining a thorough understanding of all areas of the business, advising on best practice.
This is a national role, the job holder can be based in any part of England.
