Job summary

A health organization in Wales is seeking a Corporate Governance Officer to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and provide governance support. The ideal candidate should have significant admin or corporate governance experience, preferably within the NHS, and strong communication skills. This role offers opportunities for initiative and involvement in strategic governance activities, contributing to the oversight of the Health Board's operations.

Qualifications

  • Significant previous experience in admin and/or corporate governance role within NHS or other sector.
  • Experience of working with a board, committees and associated policies and procedures.
  • Evidence of recent CPD is desirable.

Job summary

The Corporate Governance Officer supports the Head of Corporate Governance and Corporate Governance Manager with corporate governance arrangements, to contribute to ensuring that the Health Board operates in accordance with statutory regulations and that there is appropriate stewardship and corporate governance of the business of the Health Board across the whole organisation.

The post holder will be responsible for demonstrating initiative whilst working within policies, procedures and protocols, seeking advice where necessary.
