We have an opportunity for a Corporate Governance Manager to join our team. This is a great role for someone to support the Group and Plc Company Secretarial team, ensuring the provision of high-end corporate governance support!
About the role:
You will be responsible for providing end-to-end support to a portfolio of Aviva Group Centre entities, including board meeting attendance, minuting, support, and administration (such as drafting agendas and corporate governance papers, and loading papers), engaging with directors and senior management, and advising and training directors to ensure statutory duties are discharged effectively in accordance with the Companies Act and UK Corporate Governance Code. You will also ensure statutory filings and records are maintained accurately, including Board appointments, share transactions, and overseas requirements. Additionally, you will support corporate transactions and listed company compliance, assist with external reporting, and contribute to AGM preparations.
