Job description

Looking to step-up into a Senior Manager or Director position within a standout advisory firm where Corporate Finance is at the core of what they offer?

EA First are proud to partner with an impressive, international firm who have a strong focus on providing a range of high quality advisory services to their clients.

Our client isn't your typical practice firm who focus on Audit, Accounts and Tax - here, Corporate Finance is one of the services at the heart of what they do. Therefore, this is an exciting opportunity to thrive in a CF-focused environment with plenty of opportunity to get stuck into unique projects of different scales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Transactions: Drive end-to-end deal execution, from structuring to closing, ensuring high-quality deliverables and proactive issue resolution.
  • Client Partnering: Build trusted relationships, lead client meetings, and provide strategic insight throughout the deal process.
  • Risk & Compliance: Manage engagement risks and ensure full compliance with firm policies and regulatory standards.
  • Business Growth: Identify opportunities, lead origination efforts, and contribute to pitches, proposals, and networking initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage teams, providing clear direction and developing junior talent.
  • Strategic Advice: Advise on M&A, debt, and valuation, bringing commercial acumen and technical expertise.
  • Practice Development: Shape the growth of the Corporate Finance practice through strategic input and operational improvements.

About You:

  • Degree-qualified and/or a Chartered Accountant with 6-8+ years' experience in a leading accounting, advisory, or corporate finance environment
  • Significant experience in corporate finance, valuation, and leveraged finance, with a strong track record in leading complex transactions from origination through to execution
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities, coupled with deep proficiency in Excel and the broader MS Office suite
  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify, assess, and capitalise on M&A and investment opportunities
  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and building trusted client relationships at a senior level
  • Familiarity with key financial data sources such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg, and the ability to use them to drive insight and inform decision-making
  • Demonstrated success across a broad range of transaction types, including private equity deals, carve-outs, and cross-border M&A
  • Comfortable contributing to business development, client origination, and shaping the firm's go-to-market strategy
