Large-Cap PE - Infrastructure / Renewables

London based, hybrid working

Stanton House is exclusively partnering with a leading large-cap Infrastructure & Renewables business to recruit a Corporate Finance Manager. The company has recently secured investment from two of the most renowned names in private capital, with its new shareholders driving an ambitious growth strategy in the infrastructure and energy sectors.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Development, this role will take a lead role in investment analysis, M&A transactions, capital structuring, and business planning. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, shaping strategic decisions in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving industry.

The Role

  • Lead financial analysis and valuation of potential investments
  • Supporting M&A transactions and capital allocation discussions with shareholders
  • Engaging with the CEO, CFO, and Board to provide strategic insights and updates
  • Contributing to corporate finance activities, including capital structuring and group strategy
  • Collaborating with ExCo, department heads, and wider teams to drive business performance
  • Deliver financial analysis and valuation of potential investments
  • Support strategic decision-making with robust financial modelling
  • Help shape the company’s sustainability-focused infrastructure ambitions
  • Engage with shareholders on capital allocation policies
  • Support debt origination and lender relationships
  • Play a key role in updating and maintaining the group-wide Business Plan
  • Design performance frameworks, KPIs, and key delivery milestones
  • Work across key strategic transactions, including valuation and modelling
  • Support M&A, hedging, and corporate development initiatives

About You

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in strategy, corporate finance, or project management
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with experience reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multiple initiatives
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working with senior executives and presenting financial insights
  • Background in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly domestic & commercial-scale renewables
  • Interest in financial markets and capital structures
