Job summary

Downey Osborne is partnering with a leading professional services firm to recruit a Corporate Finance Manager in Belfast. You will work with ambitious owners and investors, delivering high-profile transactions and supporting growth of the corporate finance practice.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement and clear career progression. You will lead financial modelling, valuations and advisory reports, manage client relationships and junior staff, and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• Previous corporate finance, transaction services or deal advisory experience.
• Strong understanding of M&A transactions, valuations and financial analysis.
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering advisory projects.
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage corporate finance assignments including acquisitions, disposals, fundraising and valuation projects.
• Deliver high-quality financial analysis, modelling and strategic advice to clients.
• Manage transactions from initial engagement through to successful completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and key stakeholders.
• Prepare and review reports, presentations and proposal documents.
• Support and develop junior team members within the corporate finance team.
• Work alongside Partners on complex transactions and strategic advisory engagements.
• Identify opportunities to grow client relationships and generate new business.
• Conduct market research and sector analysis to support client assignments.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Support wider business development initiatives and networking activities.
• Contribute to thought leadership and market-facing content.
• Assist with strategic projects across the wider advisory team.
