Job Opportunity: Director / Partner Designate in Corporate Finance

Our client is a growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors with a strategic plan to remain independent amidst PE activity and market consolidation. This Director / Partner Designate role is crucial in developing their goal of becoming the leading provider of Corporate Finance Services in their markets.

Their success is driven by their people, emphasizing collaboration, approachability, and outstanding client service. They seek a talented Corporate Finance professional who shares these values and aspires to develop into a Partner.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the Corporate Finance service line, developing and executing the department’s strategic plan. Services include M&A advisory, due diligence, and fundraising support, serving clients from high-growth startups to large established companies, lenders, private equity, and government bodies.
  2. Manage M&A transactions from inception to completion, overseeing risk management.
  3. Develop and mentor junior team members.
  4. Generate new business through networking and relationship building.
Candidate Profile
  • Fully qualified CA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Extensive experience leading M&A transactions.
  • Management skills with the ability to motivate, delegate, and lead teams.
  • Experience managing client expectations and risk at a senior level.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships that lead to business opportunities.

Salary up to £95,000 (DOE) plus benefits. The role offers hybrid and flexible working arrangements. Location is flexible with a national remit, but proximity to central Scotland is preferred.
