Job summary

Lord Search & Selection in Nottingham is seeking a newly qualified ACA to join its independent corporate finance advisory team. You'll move from Big 4 audit into corporate finance and be exposed to live transactions.

You will work across the full transaction lifecycle, supporting M&A, preparing financial analyses and information memorandums, and liaising with clients and advisors. This role offers significant exposure to senior team members and entrepreneurs, with a clear path to development

Qualifications

• ACA qualification from a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Strong academic and professional credentials.
• Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills.
• Interest in M&A, transactions and corporate finance.
• Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of M&A and corporate finance transactions.
• Prepare financial analysis, valuation models and transaction analysis.
• Produce information memorandums, management presentations and other client materials.
• Undertake financial and commercial analysis as part of transaction processes.
• Support due diligence and liaise with clients, advisers and other stakeholders.
• Work directly with senior team members and gain exposure to clients.

The business works with ambitious privately owned and entrepreneurial companies, providing advice across a range of transactions including acquisitions, disposals, MBOs, MBIs, fundraising and strategic corporate finance.

This firm has an established reputation in the Midlands market and offers an Associate the opportunity to gain significant exposure to live transactions while working closely with experienced corporate finance professionals and business owners.

The Role

This is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified ACA looking to make their first move from a Big 4 audit environment into corporate finance advisory.

You will be involved across the full transaction lifecycle, including:

• Supporting the execution of M&A and corporate finance transactions
• Preparing financial analysis, valuation models and transaction analysis
• Producing information memorandums, management presentations and other client materials
• Undertaking financial and commercial analysis as part of transaction processes
• Supporting due diligence and liaising with clients, advisers and other transaction stakeholders
• Working directly with senior members of the team and gaining exposure to clients and business owners
