Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially astute Finance Business Partner to collaborate with stakeholders across the business, offering financial insights and strategic advice to improve profitability and performance. This position requires a strong mix of technical accounting knowledge, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis & Reporting:
• Provide timely financial analysis, reports, and insights tailored to business needs
• Develop and refine dynamic financial reporting tools to support decision-making.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Partner with stakeholders to prepare accurate budgets and forecasts, aligning with business goals.
• Monitor variances and advise on corrective actions or opportunities for efficiency.
• BI and SAP Systems Expertise:
• Act as the key user of SAP and BI tools for reporting and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and the development of reports
• Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization using these systems.
• Business Partnering with Stakeholders:
• Build and maintain relationships with managers and decision-makers, becoming a trusted advisor for financial matters.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
• Month-End Activity:
• Prepare, review, and present monthly financial results, ensuring accurate and timely completion of period-end processes.
• Identify and investigate variances to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Special Projects:
• Lead or contribute to ad hoc projects and financial investigations as required, offering strategic input to achieve desired outcomes.
• Process Improvement:
• Liaise with the Financial Shared Services Centre (FSSC) and other teams to resolve financial issues and streamline reporting processes.
• Develop and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 3+ years post-qualified experience.
• Proficiency in SAP and BI tools, with advanced Excel knowledge
• Strong analytical skills, with an exceptional ability to interpret large datasets and distill insights into actionable strategies.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including translating financial concepts for non-finance colleagues.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving with a process improvement mindset.
