Job description

Overall Purpose of the Job:

The Corporate Finance Accountant will report to the Head of Corporate Finance to provide accounting, financial modelling, and reporting services in relation to University special projects, strategic cash management and investment and financing activities. The role also includes line management of one direct report; Treasury Accountant.

This role will support the Head of Corporate Finance with the financial oversight of the University's endowments and the investment portfolio. This will include monitoring and reporting on investment performance, liaising with investment consultants, investment managers and custodians in order to process investment-related transactions, assisting in the preparation of reports to the University's Investment Sub Committee and preparing financial statement notes and disclosures in relation to cash and cash equivalents, investments and endowments.
