Daikin Applied is seeking a Corporate Events Specialist who will be directly responsible for supporting experiences associated with the Innovation Roadshow traveling showcase trailer. Its primary function is on the events team and is responsible for working with Daikin Applied's vendors, Reps and internal product and sales teams to provide an unrivaled experience that enhances customer confidence and boosts brand awareness. This person reports to the Manager of Corporate Events. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!

What you will do:



  • Serve as the main liaison between Daikin and our vendors, ensuring smooth coordination of showcase trailer updates, repairs and maintenance

  • Ensure the showcase trailer complies with all US and State DOT guidelines and has correct insurance coverage

  • Occasionally travel to inspect display updates or trailer issues and represent Daikin, showcasing our commitment to excellence

  • Participate in event planning calls alongside our team of experts to understand Rep objectives and identify opportunities to elevate the showcase experience

  • Schedule and track presenter certifications for all events

  • Manage and maintain marketing assets on our online Sales Portal, ensuring our Reps always have the latest information

  • Maintain online project management database (Smartsheet) for all parties to stay informed of event and tour details

  • Oversee invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timely payments

  • Maintain basic knowledge of Daikin's products and solutions

Minimum Qualifications:



  • 2 to 4 years experience in related field

  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Communications or business-related field

  • 5+ years in traveling showcase field

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000- $74,000 in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
