About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to join a newly formed, high-impact team driving internal M&A and corporate development initiatives. Initially the role will be a remote based position with a view to set up a main office in either the Midlands or Northern Regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end M&A process, from origination through to execution and integration.
  • Conduct rigorous financial and commercial due diligence, coordinating with external advisors.
  • Prepare investment appraisals and present recommendations to the investment committee.
  • Negotiate deal terms and manage transaction documentation.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and identify strategic acquisition targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with advisors, stakeholders, and target companies.

About You

We're looking for a commercially astute and highly motivated dealmaker with:

  • ACA / ACCA qualification and a strong track record in M&A or Transaction Services, ideally from a Big 4 or boutique advisory background.
  • Experience in corporate development or private equity-backed environments.
  • A confident communicator with the gravitas to engage with C-suite stakeholders and SME/OMB owners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple transactions in the lower/mid-market space.
  • A self-starter mindset with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.

Why Apply?

  • Join a mission-driven, PE-backed group with a clear growth strategy and strong financial backing.
  • Competitive salary with bonus potential and equity
  • Work alongside a high-calibre leadership team and experienced investors.
  • Be part of a business that is scaling rapidly and making a real impact in the environmental sector.
