Job summary

Perts Bonds is seeking a Corporate Collections Officer in Uxbridge to manage end-to-end corporate debt collection, invoicing accuracy and customer service. You will collaborate with multiple internal teams and external parties to ensure compliant, timely recovery actions while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

The role requires strong numerical and IT skills, attention to detail and the ability to negotiate repayment arrangements with a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• Experience in invoicing, billing and debt collection.
• Experience with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Experience handling vulnerable customers with empathy and professionalism.
• Understanding of data protection legislation and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing, invoicing and recovery of corporate debts.
• Investigate outstanding accounts and determine appropriate recovery action.
• Liaise with Legal Services, enforcement agents, DWP, recovery agents and third parties.
• Process credit notes, refunds, write-offs and direct debit collections.
• Carry out account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and monitor BACS collections and related reports.
• Generate reminders, final demands and recovery correspondence.
• Negotiate repayment arrangements considering individual circumstances.
• Maintain accurate customer records and financial information.
• Produce management information and reports on debt recovery performance.
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email, letter and face‑to‑face.
• Support colleagues with training and contribute to process improvements.
