This is an excellent opportunity for a Counsel to join a leading legal team within the Corporate Real Estate Sector. The role focuses on providing expert corporate and commercial legal advice and guidance to support the success of the organisation.

Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing legal advice on a variety of corporate matters including Franchising and Corporate Re-organisations.
  • Acquisitions (SPA / Business Asset Purchases)
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage legal risks effectively.
  • Assist in resolving disputes and managing litigation when required.
  • Stay updated on changes in property law and provide recommendations accordingly.
  • Support strategic initiatives with expert legal input.
  • Maintain accurate legal documentation and records.

Profile

The successful candidate will be likely to have at least 4 years PQE in England & Wales or another Common Law jurisdiction. They will have:

  • a strong background and expertise in Corporate law including demonstrable experience of drafting and negotiating SPAs, Asset Purchase Contracts, Franchising.
  • a willingness to take on general commercial in-house work
  • experience working in or with the property industry is advantageous.
