Role Overview: To deliver business transformation at scale, this Core PLM (cPLM) Technical Senior Analyst plays an important role in gathering, analyzing, and documenting cPLM business requirements. It translates business requirements into technical specifications, partnering with the nominated system integrator, and ensures clear prioritization of the technical backlog to meet the business needs. This role also serves as a subject matter expert in cPLM.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or relevant business function (e.g., R&D) or equivalent with minimum 5 years of experience in technical analyst roles.
- Strong experience in digital R&D requirement gathering and technical specification creation.
- Experience in technical analyst roles in digital R&D, preferably PLM and related touchpoints to ERP.
- Good understanding of PLM technologies and how business needs are met.
- Knowledge of digital PLM platform architecture, complexities, and architectural patterns including data confidentiality and security.
- Ability to think innovatively to evolve solutions and experiences through technology.
Key responsibilities:
Lead Technical Requirements for PLM
- Collaborate with stakeholders from the PLM DevOps team (such as Product Owner, Scrum Master, Solution Architect, Software Engineers, PLM Functional Experts), Digital Core ERP, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business units and development teams (e.g., cPLM, Digital Core ERP, MDG), translating business requirements into technical specifications and facilitating communication.
- Identify, define, and present opportunities for process and technical improvements across the PLM ecosystem to key stakeholders including the PLM Digital Director and Corporate PLM Portfolio Owner.
Digital PLM Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with stakeholders to prioritize PLM and Innovation Systems features, functionalities, and enhancements. Participate in project meetings and contribute to project coordination.
- Lead in coordinating testing phases.
- Transition knowledge as part of Service Introduction processes to GDO and FE Org take-on procedures.
