Job Description

A small-medium sized law firm with a fully remote working ethos is seeking a Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join on a consultancy basis. The firm, recognized by Legal 500 & Chambers, specializes in the medical sector but the work involves general corporate and commercial law, so specific sector experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

This part-time role offers flexible hours, with interesting work in the healthcare sector, including NHS and healthcare contracts, establishing provider companies, governance, partnership law, mergers and acquisitions, and NHS regulatory advice. The solicitor will collaborate with property and employment colleagues on larger transactions.

Clients are primarily primary care professionals such as doctors, dentists, and pharmacists. Sector-specific experience is preferred but not essential, as the firm provides training on relevant regulations. Support and training are ongoing, and administrative assistance is excellent.

Ideal candidates will have a successful track record, be commercially minded, and likely have experience from a top-tier law firm or similar. A long-term commitment is required, as this is ongoing work.

Applicants should highlight any medical sector experience and specify their weekly availability, especially during standard working hours. The start date is flexible within the next few months after onboarding. The firm typically looks for candidates with at least 10 years PQE, with experience in large corporate/commercial law firms, including training contracts.
