The Role
As a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor, you will play a key role in the continued success and expansion of the firm's Commercial department. Working on a broad caseload that includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, shareholder agreements, business restructuring, and general commercial work, you'll have the chance to engage with a diverse client base and develop new business relationships.

You'll be instrumental in growing the department, building rapport with clients and referrers, and contributing to the firm's long-term strategy. The role offers plenty of scope for leadership and involvement in business development, making it ideal for someone looking to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied caseload of corporate and commercial matters, including M&A, restructuring, and shareholder agreements
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients and referrers
• Assisting in the growth and development of the Corporate & Commercial department
• Collaborating with the team to achieve targets and develop new business opportunities
• Representing the firm at networking events and helping to drive business growth

Requirements:

• 3+ years PQE as a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor
• Strong experience in M&A, corporate transactions, and commercial matters
• Business development experience or a strong interest in helping to grow the department
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• A commercial mindset with the ability to understand the needs of business clients
