Job summary

Executive Network Legal Limited seeks a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor with 1-3 PQE to join its Cambridgeshire team. You will manage a varied caseload across corporate and commercial matters, advise on transactions, and draft key documents, delivering practical, commercially focused guidance to clients.

You will build and maintain client relationships, anticipate client objectives, and work to deadlines while contributing to the growth of the practice.

Corporate & Commercial Solicitor | 1-3 years PQE | Cambridgeshire | £50k – £60k DOE | Are you looking to join a corporate and commercial team that has range and a depth of experience which is recognised throughout the region and beyond?

JOB TITLE: Corporate & Commercial Solicitor

SALARY: Dependent on experience

THE OPPORTUNITY: The successful candidate will be joining a well-established firm that prides itself on providing practical, commercially focused legal advice. The corporate & commercial team works with a broad range of businesses and organisations, advising on a variety of corporate transactions and commercial matters.

THE ROLE: While carrying out your duties at this firm, you will be expected to:

• Manage a varied caseload of corporate and commercial matters, taking ownership of files and delivering a high-quality service.
• Advise clients on a range of corporate matters, including acquisitions, disposals, shareholder agreements and company reorganisations.
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and corporate documentation.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and commercially focused advice.
• Keep up to date with relevant developments in corporate and commercial law.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of the team.

THE CANDIDATE: Applications are welcomed from those with circa 1-3 PQE, you must also have:

• Experience managing your own caseload of corporate and commercial matters, with the ability to work with appropriate levels of supervision.
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to understand clients' objectives and provide practical legal advice.
• Excellent communication and drafting skills, with the confidence to deal directly with clients.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines.

It would also be desirable if you have:

• Previous business development experience, or an interest in developing client relationships and contributing to the growth of the practice.
• A collaborative and proactive approach, with a genuine interest in developing your career within a Corporate & Commercial team.
