Corporate Commercial Lawyer - Head of Team

Exciting opportunity to head up Corporate Commercial practice on the South Coast/ South Hampshire region of commercially focused law firm with a wider corporate commercial practice. Our client is looking to recruit for its corporate commercial legal team with the strategic hire of a Corporate Commercial Lawyer as Head of Team in the region. This role is on a permanent basis.

Your New Role

This team advises on a wide range of corporate transactions and commercial law matters, with clients ranging from SMEs (including start-ups) through to PLCs. The Corporate Commercial Lawyer will act for entrepreneurs and businesses on a wide range of matters including:

• M&A and disposals
• Financings
• Joint ventures, LLPs and shareholder agreements
• Re-organisations and restructuring
• Share schemes
• Commercial contracts

About You

The firm looks to hire a Corporate Commercial Lawyer who demonstrates:

• Experience in networking and business development activity
• Ideally, local knowledge and experience
• The ability to build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships, ideally with some following in the region
• Broad knowledge of corporate and commercial law
