Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the company’s Leeds city centre office as a Corporate Client Service Manager/Team Leader.

This National Broker opportunity would be to work closely with the team of existing Commercial Account Handler team, senior management, and the client facing team. It would also include handing a few large paying fee accounts and servicing them.

This is a fantastic opportunity where they have exciting plans in place, and it is therefore key that you are enthusiastic, and want to be a key member of the team and to achieve its ambitious growth plans.

As a Client Service Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the service provided to clients by your team of Client Service Advisors. Ensure the highest level of service to each assigned client in line with the agreed client service tools
  • Manage your own book of clients in conjunction with the Client Directors
  • Identify and introduce the company’s products and services to meet the client’s needs and understand and communicate each Client’s business issues and needs to the service team and other parts of the business
  • Build client relationships with key decision-makers
  • Assist the Client Directors and Client Managers to grow the revenue and profitability of your client portfolio
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the company’s UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company

About you - Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Proven experience in the insurance industry, with experience in client relationship management and the core lines of commercial risks is essential
  • Experience managing large, corporate insurance risks is desirable
  • Commercial understanding of business i.e., market forces, business drivers, market dynamics, competitors, and risks, etc
  • An effective communicator and presenter
