Job Description:

At Together, we call this position our Communities Impact Officer. In this role, you will work closely with our Head of Sustainability and senior management via our Sustainability committee. With support from the wider Sustainability Team, you will focus on our charity strategy and work to establish long-term partnerships with community-supporting charity organizations. Your passion for CSR will help increase colleague engagement and activate Together’s brand values.

What you’ll be doing day to day

  1. Lead and drive forward the Communities Strategy and action plan.
  2. Support the development and delivery of our charity strategy, including setting targets and initiatives aligned with our sustainability goals.
  3. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to garner support for activities within the strategy.
  4. Manage the charitable budget ensuring proper governance.
  5. Lead volunteering initiatives as part of Our Communities strategy.
  6. Promote awareness of our charity strategy among colleagues and encourage participation.
  7. Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting on charity and volunteering activities to measure progress.
  8. Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to align social partnerships with the brand’s values and strategy.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience managing donor and charity partnerships.
  • Proven support for corporate charity strategies.
  • Strong communication skills across multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Passion for social impact and inspiring involvement.
  • Ability to collaborate and bring people together to meet objectives.
  • Previous experience in community impact roles.
  • Alignment with Together’s core beliefs: ‘Do the right thing’, ‘Respect for people’, and ‘Being accountable’.
  • Champion of Diversity and Inclusion.
