Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Chef at Johnson Matthey in Reading to deliver high-quality catering in a professional corporate environment. The role focuses on food safety, customer service, and operational support for daily catering operations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 706/2 Chef qualification is required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and allergen management.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality meals with great consistency.
• Deliver catering services in line with client standards.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and allergen controls.
• Support kitchen operations including stock control and ordering systems.
• Complete due diligence records such as temperature checks and production sheets.
• Collaborate with team to support events and daily operations.
