Job description

This is a brand new role, which provides the opportunity to join a very well regarded and long established commercial insurance brokerage in the West Yorkshire area. Our client has a low staff turnover and is committed to providing a flexible hybrid working environment with focus on work life balance.

You will be a joining an excellent team, dealing primarily with the larger commercial and corporate clients, working closely with the Account Executives and Directors on their cases. This will involve some new business, producing submissions and negotiating with insurers, making amendments to existing policies and marketing and negotiating renewals. There will be lots of client and insurer contact on a daily basis and you may be required to attend meetings with the Account Executives from time to time.

Ideal applicants will have at least 3 years commercial insurance broking experience, preferably with some exposure to larger mid-market or corporate clients. You will be team oriented, organised and with excellent communication skills.

Previous use of Acturis system would certainly be beneficial, although full system training can be provided, progress towards CII studies will be supported and fully funded.

Our client also has longer-term succession planning in mind, with a few retirements likely to happen over the next few years, so there will be plenty of scope to develop your long-term career.
