Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and advising on a wide range of corporate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, investments, joint ventures, and reorganisations
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key corporate documentation including SPAs, shareholder agreements, and investment documents
- Working closely with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues across other departments to deliver seamless, commercially focused legal advice
- Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers and trainees within the team
- Playing an active role in business development and contributing to the strategic growth of the corporate offering
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 4 years’ PQE in corporate law
- Experience managing M&A and investment transactions, ideally with exposure to SME and owner-managed business work
- Strong technical and drafting skills with a clear commercial mindset
- Confident and credible in client-facing situations, with a track record of building trusted relationships
- A team player with a proactive approach and a genuine interest in helping clients grow and protect their businesses
- Ambitious, organised, and looking for a long-term career move with a clear path to progression
