A highly regarded commercial law firm in the heart of Manchester is seeking an experienced Corporate Associate or Senior Associate to join its dynamic and growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a well-established client base, including entrepreneurial businesses, SMEs, high-growth companies, and investors across a wide range of sectors.

You’ll play a key role in complex and high-value transactions, including M&A, private equity, corporate restructures, joint ventures, and shareholder arrangements. This is a client-facing position with real scope for progression and the ability to help shape the future of the corporate team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage M&A transactions from inception to completion.
• Advise clients on private equity investments, business structures, shareholder issues, and corporate governance.
• Support junior lawyers and trainees in developing their technical and commercial skills.
• Maintain and build strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Contribute to business development and the wider strategic growth of the corporate department.

About You:

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law.
• Strong experience in advising on a range of corporate transactions, particularly M&A and private equity.
• Excellent technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, lead projects, and manage client relationships effectively.
• A collaborative approach with strong communication and mentoring skills.
