You’ll work proactively and manage your tasks confidently, collaborating with senior managers, directors, and partners to support businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify opportunities to enhance our services and client relationships.

Our Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions Tax team works with clients from startups to global corporations, offering services like tax strategy, governance, technology, diligence, and structuring. There’s plenty of variety daily.

Whether building relationships with clients or colleagues, you’ll be supported by a team that brings out your best.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of clients, providing tax compliance and advisory services.
  2. Assist Directors/Principals/Partners in client work and practice management, including identifying new business opportunities.
  3. Utilize shared services or technology tools to deliver services.
  4. Oversee client onboarding, billing, recoveries, and cash collection.
  5. Focus on self-development and ongoing professional education.
  6. Build professional relationships with clients and within the firm, adapting your approach as needed.
  7. Understand and communicate potential risks related to quality control procedures.
  8. Support and mentor junior colleagues.
  9. Drive improvements and champion change within practice.
  10. Take responsibility for your decisions and actions, including leading complex projects.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Deep, current knowledge of taxation, including complex issues.
  • Expertise in tax accounting and audit for groups.
  • Ability to develop relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Understanding of risks related to quality control.
  • Experience in project and staff management.
  • Capability to manage a profitable client portfolio and seek new business opportunities.
  • Experience dealing with senior management.
  • Degree qualification and/or CTA/ACA certification or equivalent.
  • Support, train, and advise colleagues.
  • Drive improvements and champion change.
  • Post-qualified experience.
