MSS IT provides technology solutions for our Global Banking and Markets division, with MSS Operations IT currently working on a multi-year program to replace legacy applications in Asset Services IT, covering front to back systems across Equities and Fixed Income Asset Classes.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Actions Technical SME to manage end-to-end delivery for this program. Responsibilities include:

1. Technical design, development, implementation, automation, and maintenance of the Asset Services IT platform.
2. Pre-production testing to ensure quality.
3. Contributing to architecture and process improvements.
4. Ensuring system compliance with cybersecurity standards through upgrades and enhancements.
5. Build, release, and configuration management of production systems.
6. Troubleshooting and resolving issues across the platform.
7. Supporting the smooth operation of IT systems with minimal business disruption.
8. Ensuring compliance with internal policies, control standards, and regulatory requirements.
9. Managing transitions in a multi-vendor environment.
10. Serving as the local SPOC for the Business regarding Asset Services IT support.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive IT experience in coding, project, and technical program management.
• Proficiency in Core Java.
• Experience in program/support management.
• Knowledge of workflows such as static data sourcing, trade booking, and settlement/confirmations.
• Understanding of operations workflows and investment banking.
• Prior experience with Fixed Income applications is beneficial.

This role is based in Sheffield with hybrid working options.
