Job Description: Corporate Accounting Analyst

The Corporate Accounting Analyst is responsible for the financial reporting of designated entities within the Corporate North business and other Group entities. The role involves processing financial information accurately and timely, reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts, and ensuring statutory returns are filed punctually.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Perform accounting activities and support the Corporate North business financially.
2. Prepare and input monthly results into HFM for designated Corporate and business entities.
3. Input forecasts and budgets into HFM for these entities.
4. Prepare templates and statutory note disclosures for the consolidated corporate results.
5. Conduct variance analysis through investigations and stakeholder engagement.
6. Liaise with external auditors on queries related to the consolidated results.
7. Collaborate with London Treasury to ensure proper accounting and presentation of transactions.
8. Support the Group Finance team in monitoring financial transactions for compliance with statutory requirements.
9. Assist with SAP and Ariba queries and manage intercompany balances.
10. Coordinate with branch finance teams in Chile, Australia, and other locations for reporting tasks.
11. Review statutory accounts and liaise with the shared service center in account preparation and audit queries.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

Knowledge of:

• Accounting standards and technical issues.
• Financial systems such as SAP, HFM-Hyperion, and FDMEE.
• UK financial account preparation or review.
• Team collaboration and target delivery.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel and computer literacy.

Abilities to:

• Analyze data and produce management reports.
• Apply IFRS and relevant accounting policies.
• Understand financial systems and their fundamental principles.
