The Corporate Account Manager is responsible for managing the commercial relationship between Biffa and its corporate clients. This role covers financial performance, strategic growth, contractual negotiations, meeting KPIs and SLAs, compliance, customer satisfaction and retention, execution of strategic account plans, and innovative solutions.

Your core responsibilities

  • Implement strategic business account plans, ensure service success, contract compliance, retention, and negotiate pricing.
  • Retain corporate clients through positive relationships and grow service provision to meet revenue targets. Manage tender, benchmarking, and RFI processes, and identify new development opportunities for profitable growth.
  • Attend customer reviews and present management information and advice on waste management programs.
  • Conduct site audits, analyze data, and create action plans for client presentation.
  • Build customer confidence through solid, multi-level relationships.
  • Identify new business development opportunities within clients' businesses by leveraging sector expertise.
  • Maintain customer debt positions in line with contractual commitments.
  • Engage effectively at all levels for negotiation, influencing, and communication to deliver long-term benefits.
  • Apply commercial and financial principles related to costs, profits, markets, and value addition.
  • Develop joint strategies to support clients' CSR objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in large-scale account management environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Resilient with the ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
