The Corporate Account Manager is responsible for managing the commercial relationship between Biffa and its corporate clients. The role includes overseeing financial performance, strategic growth, contractual negotiations, meeting KPIs and SLAs, ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, retention, executing strategic account plans, and providing innovative solutions.

Your core responsibilities

  1. Implementing strategic business account plans, ensuring service success, contract compliance, retention, and successful pricing negotiations.
  2. Retaining corporate clients through positive relationships and expanding service provision to meet revenue targets. This involves managing tenders, benchmarking, RFI processes, and identifying new development opportunities for profitable growth.
  3. Participating in customer reviews and presenting management information and waste management program advice.
  4. Conducting site audits, analyzing data, and creating action plans for client presentations.
  5. Building customer confidence through solid, multi-level relationships.
  6. Applying sector expertise to identify new business opportunities that add value to client relationships.
  7. Maintaining customer debt positions in line with contractual commitments.
  8. Engaging effectively at all levels for negotiation, influence, and communication to deliver long-term benefits.
  9. Applying commercial and financial principles related to costs, profits, markets, and value addition.
  10. Developing joint strategies to support the client’s CSR objectives.
  11. Having experience in a large-scale account management environment.
  12. Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  13. Resilient and capable of working under pressure to meet targets.
