Overview
We're looking for an experienced, dedicated, and results-driven Corporate Account Handler to join our team. The role involves mentoring less experienced colleagues, sharing expertise, and prioritizing customer satisfaction. The goal is to provide quality service, achieve optimal retention, and foster growth where appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Create documents for new customers, including mid-term adjustments and renewals.
- Ensure customer details are accurately recorded and entered into the system promptly.
- Obtain renewal terms, exploring options to offer the best solutions.
- Prepare renewal closings from meeting minutes and ensure coverage is renewed on time.
- Handle insurer and customer queries regarding policies.
- Confirm cover with insurers, process policies, and follow up on outstanding documentation.
- Manage account queries and credit control issues, escalating concerns to account managers.
- Apply legal and regulatory policies related to internal procedures and insurance contracts.
About You
- Currently holding or working towards Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications, Dip CII, or FIT (preferred).
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, with intermediate knowledge of general insurance, London Market, Lloyd’s, and industry products.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is essential, with a track record of meeting targets within regulated frameworks and achieving SLAs.
- Risk-aware in handling customer information, customer-centric, and focused on optimal outcomes.
- Detail-oriented, diligent, and able to meet deadlines while taking initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident in building rapport.
- Strong planning and analytical skills with high accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
