Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for a permanent role in Cornwall. You will support the mechanical packages from pre-construction through commissioning and handover, coordinating multiple teams and suppliers to ensure safe, on-schedule delivery within budget.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in mechanical projects, strong communication skills and a proactive approach to project delivery. A competitive salary and benefits package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering mechanical engineering projects from design through to installation and commissioning.
• Knowledge of mechanical building services, industrial, manufacturing or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with digital engineering tools and modern project delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Review designs and documentation for compliance with requirements and standards.
• Procure mechanical equipment, materials and subcontract packages.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure delivery.
• Monitor installation, quality and programme performance.
• Support commissioning, testing and handover activities.
• Promote health, safety, quality and environmental performance.
