Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Consultant Medical Ophthalmologist with expertise in Cornea to join our established team of 24 Consultants and work in the Oxford Eye Hospital.
The Oxford Eye Hospital provides a medical ophthalmology service to the Oxfordshire Population of 738,000. This post is to provide consultant level cover in Corneal Ophthalmology.. Deanery trainees also work in the service.

Main duties of the jobA part time 3 PA post as a locum Consultant in Cornea Ophthalmology is available at the Oxford Eye Hospital. The ideal candidate must have completed CCT or equivalent (CESR) and must be on the specialist register. CCT fellowship in Cornea ophthalmology is essential. The 3 PAs are apportioned 2.375 for direct clinical care (DCC) and 0.625 for supporting professional activity (SPA) with on-call commitment. This post is a medical post with an aspect of surgical activity built into the job plan.
