Job summary

Oxford Knight is seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join their core UI platform team in London. You will build and extend the core UI platform to power business-critical applications, collaborating with multiple teams to enable rapid, reliable development and deployment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of professional experience with React, Typescript, WebSocket, REST and UI testing. Bonus points for Kubernetes, Helm, containers and CI/CD in trading/finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience building web-based UIs.
• Proficient in React, Typescript, WebSocket protocols, REST and UI unit-testing.
• Very comfortable with agile, collaborative methodology (sprints, pair-programming, testing, estimation).
• Bonus points for Kubernetes, Helm, containers, CI/CD and/or experience in trading/finance.

Leading HFT fund looking for an experienced Front End Developer to join their core UI platform team.

This is a high impact role where your primary focus is building and extending the core UI platform, using it to develop business-critical applications. You’ll collaborate extensively with a wide variety of teams, helping them use the platform to build their own applications. You’ll aim for simplicity where possible, but you’ll also build cutting-edge UIs when required.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with React, Typescript, WebSocket protocols, REST, and UI unit-testing
• Very comfortable working in a highly agile, collaborative methodology (sprints, pair-programming, testing, estimation, etc.)
• Bonus points for Kubernetes, Helm, containers, CI/CD pipelines and/or experience working in trading / finance
