An educational services provider in Eaglescliffe is seeking dedicated Core Subjects Tutors to assist students disengaged from mainstream education. You will provide one-to-one or small group tuition in Maths, English, and Science. Ideal candidates will have experience working with youths facing emotional barriers and will be nurturing and patient. This role offers flexibility with pay up to £30 per hour, starting in September 2025.

Prospero Teaching are seeking dedicated Core Subjects Tutors to support disengaged students in the Stockton-on-Tees area. These young people are not currently accessing mainstream education as a result of SEND, SEMH, permanent exclusion and various other reasons. We are looking for Core Subject Tutors to work with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, covering Maths, English and Science, who can provide a safe, encouraging, and empowering learning environment to re-engage them in their learning journey.
You will be supporting young people on a 1-1 or small group basis who are not currently accessing full time education for various reasons.
Many of our young people have not attended school for some time and may have emotional barriers to learning. As a result, we are seeking nurturing Tutors with a patient, flexible approach and a passion for working closely with students to overcome barriers to learning.
Sessions will take place face to face either in a community setting or at the young persons home.
Pay rate up to GBP30 per hour depending on qualification and/or experience
Up to 6 hours per week per student
