About the Role
As a tutor, you will work one-to-one or in small groups with students at different stages of their learning journey. You’ll create engaging lessons tailored to their needs, helping them boost confidence, deepen their understanding, and develop effective study habits.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver tailored lessons that engage and motivate students
Assess individual student progress and adapt your teaching approach
Encourage students to reach their academic goals and build self-confidence
Provide constructive feedback to support ongoing learning
What We’re Looking For:
Experience teaching or tutoring in English, Maths, or Science
Teaching qualifications such as PGCE, QTS, or Cert Ed are preferred but not essential
A flexible and enthusiastic approach to supporting learners
Strong communication, organisational, and planning skills
Enhanced DBS clearance registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
