Graduate Opportunities – Maths, English & Science
Location: East Lancashire (Secondary Schools)
Roles: Teaching Assistants / Cover Supervisors
Contract: Full-Time and Flexible/Ad-Hoc Positions Available

Are you a recent Maths, English, or Science graduate looking to take your first step into education? Do you want to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or a long-term career in schools?

Teaching Personnel is working with a network of secondary schools across East Lancashire who are seeking enthusiastic graduates to support teaching and learning as Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors.

Role
  • Support pupils in lessons, helping to raise attainment and build confidence.
  • Lead whole classes in the absence of the teacher (Cover Supervisor role).
  • Work with subject teachers to deliver engaging and challenging content.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group interventions where needed.
  • Gain hands-on classroom experience across different year groups and abilities.
About You
  • Degree in Maths, English, Science, or a related subject.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Confident, resilient, and able to build positive relationships with young people.
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education.
