Job summary

World Wide Technology's GS&A Core Networking team seeks a Technical Solutions Architect II to lead multi‑vendor design across Underlay, Carrier Services, and Traffic Engineering for service providers, large enterprises, and data centers.

You will develop Bills of Materials, present designs to technical and executive stakeholders, run lab builds in the ATC, and support POC engagements with defined success criteria.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering complex networking solutions.
• Hands-on SR-MPLS/SRv6, BGP/EVPN, traffic engineering, and converged networking.
• Certifications equivalent to CCIE SP, SRA, or similar.
• Strong technical writing and publish-ready content.
• Able to work independently across multi-year engagements.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-vendor Core Networking solutions across Underlay Transport, Carrier Services, and TrafficEngineering for service provider, large enterprise, and public sector customers.
• Build Bills of Materials, including cross‑vendor equivalencies, to support proposed Core Networking solutions.
• Present designs and BOM rationale to technical and executive stakeholders, lead workshops and briefings, and support RFP/RFI responses.
• Design and stand up hands‑on lab builds in WWT's Advanced Technology Center, and scope/execute customer POC engagements with defined success criteria.
• Publish technical content that establishes WWT as a market leader, maintain OEM certifications and vendor relationships, and mentor customers and WWT team members.
