Copywriter / Content Creator

Are you interested in Marketing and Communications? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Copywriter, as well as playing a vital role in helping our business succeed.

We are looking for a motivated, proactive, and creative Copywriter to join our team. You will play a vital role in enhancing our company from a marketing perspective. You will embody our core behaviours of integrity, curiosity, warmth, and ambition. As a member of the Marketing team, it is key that you are able to work independently, as well as working efficiently as part of a team.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

1. Produce high quality external content for SOCOTEC UK including blogs, thought leadership articles, technical articles, case studies and press releases
2. Research industry trends and work with stakeholders to identify topical subjects on which to produce engaging content
3. Work with the wider marketing and communications team to align content with key campaigns

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

1. Proven track record in producing high quality technical content
2. Solid experience in writing for different audiences and channels (on and offline)
3. Excellent written and verbal skills

About Central Services

Based in Burton-on-Trent, SOCOTEC UK’s Head Office houses our Central Services teams. These teams provide a corporate structure to support the wider business. Central Services is broken down into four main areas: Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, Finance, and IT. Each of these areas is vital to the day-to-day running of SOCOTEC.
