Purcell in London is seeking a self-motivated Copywriter to shape editorial materials for digital and print. Based in our London studio, you will collaborate across the practice within the Work Winning Team to craft clear, engaging content that strengthens the brand and supports audience storytelling.
The role requires strong editing, storytelling and SEO awareness, with experience across thought leadership, website copy and award submissions.

We’re looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Copywriter with a passion for storytelling and an eye for detail to help shape Purcell’s editorial materials. Based in our London studio and sitting within our Work Winning Team, the Copywriter will work closely with colleagues from across the practice. The role will involve research, creation and editing of a wide variety of clear, engaging and persuasive content for digital and print, with a strong understanding of audience across all collateral.
The Copywriter will shape Purcell’s public-facing written material, ensuring all outputs are to a high standard, well written and consistent in style; clearly communicating key themes, showcasing our projects and strengthening our brand.
Purcell celebrates 80 years of practice in 2027: we have an exciting programme of activity planned that requires a dynamic, hands-on team player with a proven editorial track record, with excellent knowledge of the built environment or heritage sector.
